个人简介

周永迪博士为华东师范大学紫江特聘教授。主要的研究领域是知觉及短期记忆,特别着重研究体感皮层在触觉工作记忆中的作用。周永迪教授在研究中证明初级感觉皮层参与高级认知活动,并证明体感皮层神经元能对与触觉刺激相关的非触觉(视觉,听觉)刺激作出反应,参与对这些非触觉刺激的工作记忆。根据这些研究成果,周永迪教授提出大脑初级感觉皮层不仅参与感觉性质的分析,同时还参与高级认知过程。周永迪教授提出的这一大脑皮层神经生物学的新概念,对高级认知活动仅是联合皮层的功能这一传统认识作出了重大修正。周永迪教授目前正在进一步开展躯体感觉皮层对于与触觉信息相关的非触觉信号的认知与短期记忆作用的神经机理的研究(交叉感觉模式的认知与短期记忆)。
